The traditional procession of the Three Kings, Jan. 6, 2020

Once again this year on the occasion of Epiphany, the traditional appointment of the Three Kings procession, a symbol of the city now since the 1960s, returns to Milan. The event will take place in Piazza Duomo where the three Kings, the Civic Band and civil and religious dignitaries, ladies and gentlemen in costume will gather and then parade to the basilica of Sant'Eustorgio where they will then go to offer their gifts to the Holy Family. This is a historical event based on an episode dating back to the fourth century, according to which Bishop Eustorgio transported the remains of the three Magi from Constantinople to Milan.
